A Pewter Sky Over Turffontein Today

First due off @ 12h00

Nine races are carded on the Turffontein Inside course this afternoon, with the first due off at 12h00.

Winning Form-sponsored Jockey Richard Fourie has eight rides booked with a few decent winning chances and he may be worth following.

Turffontein plays host to today’s racemeeting!

Legend Of Arthur from the Sean Tarry stable takes his place in Race 2.

He produced an encouraging debut effort over 1000m on the Standside course.

He was slow into stride, understandably raced green but stayed on at the finish. He would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1450m.

With the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating.

Trainer Paul Matchett sends out Pewter Sky in Race 7. He has fair recent form lines to his credit.

He lost a length leaving the start over 2000m last time and stayed on to finish fourth. The son of Capetown Noir takes a drop-in class and in the ratings.

If getting away to a clean start, he can notch up his third-career victory.
