Trainer Eric Sands sends out Pineapplemintgreen in Race 3 and she is the best bet on the programme.

She has improved in her last two starts over 1250m on this course. She got going too late when second behind Girl Like Us on her last race.

The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight will love the rise to 1400m and it is encouraging that Aldo Domeyer retains the ride.

From her good draw of two, she should shed her maiden tag.

Michael Faraday from the Candice Bass-Robinson yard may be the horse to close off the meeting.

He ran a good race when fourth over 1600m on this course last time. The way he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging.

The drop to 1400m is no concern and against similar company, he should be involved in the fight to the finish.

Jockey Sihle Cele will not be riding today.
