R3 million Jackpot Will have Plenty Of Interest Today

Jackpot starts at 14h03

The Gr1 Gold Medallion is the second leg of the projected R3 million Jackpot at Hollywoodbets Scottsville today.

Michelle Wing and her Racing News team bring us the connections’ comments:

Lucky Lad: “He does meet a stronger field here than he met last time, but he’s improving. He’s the horse to beat ”, Sean Tarry.

Outlaw King: “Hollywoodbets Scottsville found him out the other day … the 1100 meter trip. They messed around in the gates and he didn’t come out running, but fought on to beaten half a length“, Dean Kannemeyer.

Red Bomber: “His win first time out was impressive and the form line is holding up quite nicely. It’s an open race and I’m sure we’ll be in the finish“, Gavin Lerena.

Cliff Hanger: Cliff Hanger won the Godolphin Barb Stakes Gr3 at Scottsville. Been bought by Lawrence Werners since that win, Racing News.

Icy Blast: “He was a tad disappointing the other day, but that was due to him needing the run possibly and the very wet going. His work has been good at home and he’s improved“, Vaughan Marshall.

Warrior Of Royalty: “He won a very good race last time. I did have a little bit of problem with his back fetlock, but that’s sorted out now “, Nathan Kotzen.

Eygptian Mau: Only filly in the race. One run for 1 win. Comes in well and meets horses from around the country, Racing News.

Guy Gibson: “He’s a smart little horse and we’re hoping for a very good run. Nicely drawn at 3”, Roy Magner.

The Africa House: “I have put the cheek pieces on just to help him focus more in the early parts. I think he’ll be running on strongly“, Sean Tarry.

Let The Flag Fly: “This is my first group 1 runner. The owners are so excited. This cost us R35 000 “, Tiene Prinsloo.

The Abdicator: “He’s doing absolutely phenomenal at home. We are trying something new with pacifiers to see if he can switch off early in the race “, James Crawford.
