2yo Fillies – Super Interprovincial Clash Today

No bankers in first leg of big jackpot

The classy Winter Cloud meets Mrs Geriatrix and Golden Tatjana in a strong line-up of 2-year-old fillies in the Gr1 Allan Robertson Championship at Hollywoodbets Scottsville today.

Here are the trainer / jockey comments:

Winter Cloud: “She’s doing exceptionally well at home and must have a very good chance on Saturday“, Candice Bass-Robinson.

Mrs Geriatrix: “She seems to have improved every time she’s run. This filly is very game and I expect her to fight out the finish again“,  Sean Tarry.

Golden Tatjana: “She’s just speed, like real speed. Whatever she does at home, she brings it to the track “, Glen Kotzen.

Elegant Ice: She was an easy winner on debut. Ran a close up 2nd in the grade 3 Pretty Polly Stakes. She’s well and in a race where there’re lots with chances , Racing News.

Cullinan Blue: “Couldn’t be happier with this filly. If she can get cover and switch off, she will be a very big runner”, James Crawford.

Hot Pearl: “She’s got a little V8 engine on her. Her work is top-class. She is drawn on the outside, but we’ll only know on the day where the going will be on the course“, Wendy Whitehead.

Moving In: “I’ve got a lovely draw of 1. She’s an improving filly, so am looking forward to riding her on the weekend“, Gavin Lerena.

Red Hot Rose: “We’re drawn in the middle which is quite nice as you’ll have the option as where you want to be. There’s speed on both sides of us“ , Calvin Habib.

Rascova: “We took her last week to go and see the track. They say it could be the graveyard for many if you don’t show them. She put up an amazing gallop. Between her and Golden Tatjana, they have beaten the colts twice“, Glen Kotzen.

Captain’s Christy: “Candice’s filly obviously looks exceptional. We’ve got 5 lengths to make up which is not going to be easy, but we’re in the race not just to make up the numbers“, Mark Dixon.

Troppo Veloce: “We’ve thrown her in to take our chances and if we can run into the quartet, we’ll be extremely delighted with that“, Ashley Fortune.

Global Thunder: “In her last run she was beaten a short head by the filly who ran 2nd in the SA Fillies Nursery carrying 3kgs less than us. I thought we must just take our chances“, Corrie Lensley.
