Cape Thoroughbred Sales (CTS) has announced the date for the 2021 Ready to Run/Unbroken Two-Year-Old Sale.
It will be held for the first time at De Grendel Wine Estate, on Sunday, 31 October 2021.
Grant Knowles, Marketing and Bloodstock Director for CTS, commented: “The ever popular Ready to Run Sale will now be staged at De Grendel, giving the sale an even more festive atmosphere.
The R2R is synonymous with several high-profile winners including Cirillo, Safe Harbour and Captain America.
We are in discussion with Cape Racing about the customary pre-sale gallops, and an announcement regarding both date and venue will be made in due course.”
The De Grendel RTR Race for graduates from the 2020 Ready to Run Sale has been scheduled for Saturday, 20 November 2021 at Kenilworth, and will be held alongside the Cape Merchants and Concorde Cup.
