Sunday’s 2020 CTS Ready To Run and Mixed Sale went live on the gavelhouse.com website on Monday with bidding opening on Wednesday.
Cape Thoroughbred Sales Bloodstock & Marketing Director Grant Knowles provided Sporting Post readers with a brief run-down of the process.
The sale is currently live.
What happens?
- Buyers Application forms must be sent to Amanda Carey for approval.
Forms are available on the website; or contact Amanda Carey on 082 465 4020 or [email protected].
- Amanda will forward the approval to Gavelhouse and they register the Buyer online.
- They send a username and password to Buyer.
- They can now bid.
- Lot 1 closes at 16h30 on Sunday.
- Lot 1 does not enter the virtual ring at 16h30, he exits the ring at 16h30.
- Then Lot 2 comes in.
- From there onwards, each Lot gets 2 minutes.
- Unless there is a bid within the last 30 secs – in which case an additional 30 secs is added.
The sale can be viewed without being registered – this will allow viewing but no participation.
